China Life (Overseas) named top-three finalist in the Hong Kong Insurance Awards 2017 (Outstanding InsurTech Innovation Award)
China Life (Overseas) scored top honors at The Hong Kong Insurance Awards 2017, co-organized by South China Morning Post and the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI), and was selected as a top-three finalist in the Outstanding InsurTech Innovation Award category. At the award ceremony held on 26 October at the Hong Kong Intercontinental Hotel, Godfrey Hui, China Life (Overseas)’ Chief Actuary, received the award on behalf of the Company.
Established in 2014, the annual Hong Kong Insurance Awards recognizes insurance companies that perform outstandingly in a number of categories, with the aim to promote professional best practices within the industry. China Life (Overseas) has been participating in the Awards since its inception, and has been recognized with numerous accolades in different categories over the past years.
The Company’s winning entry this year is the China Life Integrated Business Design and Knowledge Base Platform, which incorporates innovative process design, BPMN2.0 management standard and the Signavio application in business processes. This innovative solution – a first for the Hong Kong insurance industry – enabled the Company to excel as a top-three finalist in the Outstanding InsurTech Innovation Award category.
