Title-sponsored by China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited (“China Life (Overseas)”), organized by the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China (“VBAHK”), the much-awaited “Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong 2024” (“VNLHK2024”) will be held from 11 to 16 June 2024 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. To mark this momentous occasion, the opening ceremony was held today (27 April), kicking off this world-class sporting event and announcing ticketing and schedule details. Attending guests included Commissioner for Sports of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Mr. WONG Tak Sum, Sam; President of the VBAHK, China, Mr Wilfred NG; Vice President of China Life (Overseas) and General Manager of the Company’s Hong Kong Branch, Ms HU Qun; Executive Chairperson of the Organising Committee of VNLHK2024, Mrs Marina SHEK TSUI Wai Fun; legendary Team China player Ms XU Yunli; and celebrity Ms Louise WONG.

Miss XU Yunli, the 2016 Rio Olympics Gold Medallist and former key player of the Chinese women's volleyball team, and Celebrity Ms Louise WONG exchange volleyball experiences at the occasion, and urged citizens to seize the opportunity to purchase tickets to support their favourite teams while experiencing the atmosphere of an international tournament.

VNLHK2024 is once again coming to Hong Kong from 11 to 16 June 2024.The "Women's Volleyball Nations League" is not only a renowned international volleyball competition but also the final opportunity for teams, including China, to secure their tickets to the Paris Olympic Games. The participating teams in this edition include Türkiye, the reigning champions of the VNL2023 (ranked 1^st in the world), Brazil (ranked 3^rd), China, who finished second in the 2023 edition (ranked 6^th), Poland (ranked 7^th), the Dominican Republic (ranked 8^th), Germany (ranked 12^th), Thailand (ranked 13^th), and Bulgaria (ranked 20^th).
